Newborn photoshoot baby Blake
Blake is just a week old and coming in for a newborn photoshoot, the perfect time to organise a shoot as babies are still so tiny ..
If you have seen the beautiful maternity shoot of Lisa Single this is what was hiding in that belly 😉 It is great to organise both a maternity photoshoot and a newborn photoshoot, it is still magic to see that only in a few weeks in between those photoshoots something so great comes out of that belly.
I love to do a newborn photoshoot in either our photography studio or a lifestyle shoot in someone’s home. This time Lisa and Blake came in for a studio shoot where we used a white backdrop for most of the images. Blake started the session a bit unsettled but soon after she disappeared in a big sleep and even gave us a smile during the session.
In the studio we have a great variety of wraps to wraps newborn babies in during the session and lots of different colours in blankets to create all different looks. The soft yellow suited her so well with her pink soft skin.
During the newborn photoshoot I always take the time to capture the baby with the mum ( and the dad if they are present). It just shows you how small they are at the time and it is a great memory for later to see how much they have grown.
