Perfect wedding proposal: How to plan one
ME Photography helped Matthew to plan the perfect wedding proposal on the top of Tomaree Mountain Port Stephens. I got really excited when Matthew rang me with his unique wedding proposal idea. He had an amazing proposal in mind: He would take his girlfriend Kirby for a hike on Tomaree Mountain and pretend the local newspaper the Port Stephens Examiner was doing an interview ( with photographer) to document the key locks put on by lovers on the fences at the look outs.
He arranged an engraved key lock with both names and while his girlfriend Kirby and him would put it on the fence he would propose her. Myself being the undercover ‘Examiner’ photographer would document this all.
I loved the idea of his wedding proposal and offered him to help plan it. After a bit of brainstorming he needed flowers, champagne, glasses and decorations to be carried up the look out. It was impossible for him to carry this all unnoticed. So I got the exact champagne they loved and ordered flowers from Poppies of the Bay and Matthew wanted me to arrange a lightbox with the letters – She said YES!-
A little bit of wishful thinking is always good!
Together with my assistant Elise we carried all the items up the mountain and enjoyed a perfect view on Christmas Eve and yes She said YES..!
Big congrats to you ..!
It was awesome to be part of this idea to surprise his girlfriend with the most perfect wedding proposal and I cannot wait to see what will be planned for the wedding.
