This baby shoot was so much fun..! Kelly and Aron came to our studio as they won a Facebook competition and they were lucky to receive a free studio baby shoot and a complimentary print. Kelly is a teacher at the primary school of my children so it was great to meet her and her family in my studio.
As a preparation of a studio photo session I always discuss with my clients who will be part of the photography experience ( the whole family, any other people like grandparents or other relatives), what areas in their house they have in mind to create wall art for.. ( a wall art piece above a sofa? a bed? the hall way?) and as part of where to display the wall art we create for our clients we talk about how the clothing can compliment the look ( modern? neutral tones? colourful?).
Baby shoot backdrops and clothing
For this baby shoot they had chosen for a creamy backdrop to shoot their cute little bubba Rosie on and both mum and dad were gonna be part of the shoot too.
That is awesome as I love to take photographs of babies with their parents as it is great for later in life to see them with their mum and dad in photos and also it creates a great perspective- you can really see how tiny they were at the time of the baby shoot.
I loved the pink and soft white colours they had chosen for their clothes, it was matching perfectly with the backdrop and as you can see in the images it just looks perfect to have this great colour tones
Baby Rosie was a happy little baby in our studio, she just loved the attention and the weird noises I made to make her smile.
