Superb locations look even greater from a higher perspective…. I love using the drone for couple shoots or wedding location photos. It gives such a great new dimension to your images.
You become part of a much bigger image where the image is also about the scenery – creating this stunning piece or art on your wall but you are part of it.. How amazing would that be.
When I add drone photography to a wedding package I don’t fly and buzz around during the ceremony… Who likes to be distracted right there, right? You really want to enjoy all those moments and feel there is nobody around except your best friends and family. So when I am your photographer I am a like a fly on the wall.
For location shoots though I love to be more creative and make the best use of the environment and show different perspectives.
I am an official licensed RePL pilot and can fly drones in many different circumstances. Officially you don’t need a license when you fly a small ( under 2 kg drone) but it is so handy.. I can get more exemptions than other people and also fly different drones, and most importantly learned how to fly it safely..!
Aerial sunset drone photography for weddings is one of my most favourites… The golden light that shines through everything is absolutely stunning seen from the air!
