It is great to have families in my studio but even better when close friends come in for a studio family shoot. This was an extended shoot and so much fun to do..! I had the Cox family in to create some amazing family photos for on their wall and everyone was there.. Julie the grandma, Leroy the dog, Mel and Ash and their kids and also Ash’s brother and his family..
During the photo session I took a wide variety of different images and combinations of family members. Mel and Ash came in for their viewing session and I always start with a slideshow of the edited images..
I also ask them to take a photo of a wall space they have in mind to showcase the portraits. That is done so easily.. Just a simple A4 piece of paper stuck on the wall they have in mind to display their artwork will function as a guide for the size and dimensions of the wall space.
During the viewing session I explain all the different wall art options and sizes and pricing. We then go back to the images and select the favourites from their studio family shoot. What makes is perfect is the ability to display it on THEIR wall.. I simply drag the favourite images on the image of their wall and show them the different sizes. So they will see exactly how that looks. The only choice left is to choose between a framed wall art, acrylic wall art or a canvas.
