What to do when your wedding turns out to be a wet weather wedding?
Nobody wants a wet weather wedding, but when the day started with dark clouds and it started to pour down PLAN B was set in for Lisa & Adam.
The wedding reception took place at Broughtons at the Bay– an absolute perfect wedding venue when it comes down to a rainy wedding as it took little effort to move all the decorations inside and set the chairs all ready to go for a special ceremony.
Perfectly overlooking the bay and marina of Nelson Bay Lisa and Adam did not stress at all about it being a wet weather wedding.
The girls from A Beautiful Occasion made the most gorgeous bunch of wedding decorations and floral pieces to make this place look even more amazingly!
Broughtons is great as it is a big venue so it could hold all Lisa and Adam’s guests easily also for an indoor wedding. With the umbrellas all put away, overlooking this amazing bay in Port Stephens Marg Kish married the in this beautiful setting you would never know it was plan B for Lisa and Adam.
We were also very lucky that Lisa and Adam had booked an amazing penthouse for their wedding night at the Amarna Resort at Dutchies beach Nelson Bay. With stunning views but also amazing rooms this was perfect as it was still pouring down with rain .
